Little piggies 작은 발가락

We took a day to rest up, so not too much to write about today.

Here are some of the signs and mis-translations I've been seeing, some things just make me chuckle.

Like the restaurant a block over that calls itself "Korean Restaurant", and the place around the corner called Food Cafe.

Not "baby on board", but my question is, why isn't this advisory written in Korean?

The sticker on the yellow car is a similar message, says a young Gangnam Style fan in car (or something like that).

At the Kimchi museum: good thing they clearly labeled this photo.
A few rooms over my confidence soared as I could easily spot the bin.

it's a type of fish, I hope

Found these T-shirts on sale, I wonder why no one snatched them up?

I think I'd wear this one anyway

I think it's soap?
Oh good, you're gonna need it  ↓↓

Anyway!
We attended the evening Bible Study and I even gave a small comment in Korean! I'm sure I sounded funny, Jane wrote out in "English" how I should say it. But several of the brothers and sisters told me I did a good job, and should stay and learn Korean! hehe

I look tired
We were invited out to dinner with some of the ladies, and they had a special place in mind. It was a small, very traditional place that only served two things: a big plate of pig feet and a big plate of noodles. (Jane warned me ahead of time it was going to be pig feet, so I had time to prepare mentally for that first bite) And it wasn't bad, just the outer layer of skin and cartilage was not chewing well, and I decided I would peel that off for the rest of my servings. And lots of stuff is edible - just wrap it in the lettuce with some red sauce and spiced green onions!
Hmm, what other feet will I consume before I leave?

The added bonus is the whole bone on the plate too, so they took the leftovers home, with the bone for the dog!

But the noodles- mmm, I loved it! It was soba noodles with lettuce, sliced cucumber, green onions, cabbage, and carrots, with a spicy dressing and topped with peanuts and sesame seeds. And its a cold dish, so it was spicy yet cool and refreshing to eat. Can you see the red ice cube of dressing on the plate?

I'm getting pretty good with my chopsticks now, but still getting used to sitting on the floor, especially in a skirt. And the tables are so low! But the nice thing is the floors are all heated, so its cozy.
