It was rainy today, a sleepy grey day.
Minho's family had an appointment to get a family portrait, and then we had dinner together afterward. That sums up the day, so here are some pics I took :)

We grabbed a quick lunch on the way to the portrait studio: A croquet and a "glutinous rice ball" it was chewy and yummy, filled with red bean paste. Speaking of red bean, that was flavor of my "ice candy".

Probably the best part of today was seeing how a family functions the same, no matter where you go! Grandma & grandpa want to be with the family, but grandpa is cheap and grandma just wants a nice dinner she doesn't have to cook. The kids are happy to accommodate and it takes far too long to coordinate a place they can all agree on. Grand-kids are cute and sweet, want to wrestle and dance, and will sing their same favorite song 18 times an hour.

And when we walk into the restaurant a big commotion, we don't care, its family time! Go ahead and stare at us, entire waitstaff and restaurant patrons. I will stare back.


cool new thing: the jelly packet folds in half, and then breaks the seal and squirts a nice stream of jelly right onto your bun!
