Hanging Out 대롱 대롱

It was a sunny, crisp morning, and we spent it in the ministry! We met at an older sister's apartment, and we sat on the floor -- me awkwardly, everyone else comfortably -- while we had the quick meeting for service and paired off, in groups of four. Jane and I were with two adorable sisters. They told Jane how nice I was, but were sorry they couldn't tell me themselves because we don't speak the same language. Their solution - I will just have to learn Korean. Ok :)

We went building by building, and there are 2-5 doors on each level, and usually 4-6 levels, and a basement level. And no elevators, we did lots of steps! At least Jane did all the talking today ... I just smiled and bowed.

When we were done we stopped for a little drink, Jane and I got aloe juice. And then they reminded Jane that the best place to take me in Korea is the public bathhouse. Everyone goes. And don't worry about how you look, its ok because everyone else is naked too. You can imagine the rest of that colorful conversation! hahaha we were cracking up.

As for the rest of our exciting day .... Jane made me Korean food for lunch! Kimchi fried rice. Then I promptly fell asleep and napped the entire afternoon while Jane was teaching. I hadn't realized how tired I was! Felt much better after that.

Then we went to the grocery store and we picked out some things to make this week. And they had samples stations all over! Mmm, grapes.
She also found some sea creatures to put in tonight's soup.... I kept my eye on her. But it's Minho's favorite meal, and he has to fly to Kazakhstan tomorrow for work, for two weeks, so I was happy to share it with them before he leaves.

Isn't this a beautiful spread? Finally eating some homemade Korean food. I helped mix the red chili paste.
It was so spicy, but tasty. And I ate the mushrooms, quail eggs, and the clams!! But I daintily passed on the squid, warty sea squirts, and sea urchin.
